About the course

This full-time programme offers a route to becoming professionally qualified in accountancy. It is aimed at preparing students to achieve competence at levels 1, 2 and 3 in accounting.

On completion

Successful completion of the Levels 1, 2 and 3 in Accounting gives entry to the part time Level 4 Diploma in Accounting qualification or you may wish to proceed to higher education; for example an Honours Degree in Accounting or Business Management at University Centre Farnborough or elsewhere.

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs at grade C/grade 4 or above including English and Mathematics. Students must achieve a Pass at year 1 to progress to year 2. You will need a successful interview and satisfactory reference. Above all you must have a genuine interest in accountancy and be looking for a career in this discipline.

All young people will continue to improve their skills in English and Mathematics while studying at the college. If you have lower than a C grade GCSE in English Language or Mathematics, you will be supported to work towards this level.
