We have lots of help in place to keep you focused and healthy at college. Your personal tutor will usually be your first point of contact, but we also have a network of support to keep you well looked after and on track. Whether you want help to find practical information or you just need someone to talk to, we can offer support and advice for personal, financial academic and career-related issues.
The Hub is your one-stop shop for all the services you might need while at college. From bus passes to careers advice, you can find everything you need here for a smooth college experience.
Student Services Team
Our student Services team is accredited to the Matrix Quality Standard for information, advice and guidance services. This means we offer:
Impartial information and advice to help you find the most appropriate programme of study
Support for you to stay focused and achieve on your chosen path of study
Guidance to make informed choice to progress successfully on to further or higher education or into employment
This self-contained quiet room has religious texts and ablution facilities and can be used at any time during The Hub’s opening hours, for prayer or quiet reflection for those of all faiths or those of none.
Our students’ ideas are valued and we provide several ways for them to have their say and provide feedback to the college whether through their student representatives or the annual student conference.
This inclusive monthly group will be open to all, regardless of gender or sexuality, facilitated by Student Services and led by our students to provide a safe and supportive environment within the college.
