Alice in Wonderland

'Alice in Wonderland' was performed at Parsonage Farm Nursery & Infant School by performing arts studentsIf you were looking through the keyhole of Parsonage Farm Nursery & Infant School in Farnborough last week, you would have seen Performing Arts students from Farnborough College of Technology performing ‘Alice in Wonderland’.

The production of the Lewis Carroll classic impressed the 180 strong audience of infants who were totally engrossed. The headteacher, Miss Greenway, was very impressed with the professionalism of the production and added ‘It was a fantastic performance which the pupils thoroughly enjoyed’.

Students Jordan Hockley, Tommy Green, Rachael King and Fiona Todd (pictured left to right) loved the opportunity to perform for the school, having won their parts in open auditions. Farnborough College of Technology often holds productions outside of the campus with a recent performance at Odiham Castle being highly praised. The 3rd year degree students produced the show as part of their ‘Touring Theatre’ module but most of the cast were diploma students on the 3 A level equivalent ‘Extended Diploma in Performing Arts’. Performing Arts Lecturer, Annelies Lovell said ‘It was a very professional production with excellent performances, props, makeup and costumes, the infants clearly loved it’.
