Farnborough Campus

The Farnborough campus is based in Boundary Road, and is home to around 9,000 full-time and part-time students. The unique building features a mall of nearly 300 metres long and is landscaped both indoors and outdoors with a variety of exotic plants and trees. The tranquil Cedar Courtyard and pretty Japanese Garden are used by students and staff alike to study, relax or enjoy as an alternative performance space.

There are six subject departments, or as we call them, Schools, based at the Farnborough campus. They are Applied & Health Sciences, Community Education & Training, Education & Humanities, Engineering, Media & Creative Arts and the Hampshire Business School. The School of Construction is located at our Aldershot campus.

The Business Services Team is also based at Farnborough, and is designed to meet the training and development needs of all commercial and service organisations. Working together with industry, it offers a completely flexible approach to training and consultancy, alongside the traditional curriculum courses expected in a College of Technology. The Business Services Team also manages our highly successful apprenticeship scheme, supporting apprentices and employers across a large geographical area.

Our Learning Resource Centre is the ideal place to come and study. The flexible opening hours and team of expert staff ensure support for all students, by providing access to information in a variety of formats in an environment that supports both group and individual learning. The Learning Resource Centre is also home to the Skills Development Centre, for students who require support with study skills, literacy and numeracy, or have learning difficulties/disabilities.

Our 33-place Bookworms Nursery, is on site providing childcare for staff and students attending part-time, full-time or short courses. It is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am-5.30pm. Concept offers a range of hair, beauty therapy and holistic treatments at great prices combined with highly professional service.

The Floristry Design Studio opened in 2009 and provides a real working environment for floristry students to study in. It is open to students and staff wishing to purchase creative floral arrangements for all occasions.

We have a large student refectory, which provides a choice of healthy and nutricious, hot and cold food. A deli bar in the Plaza area offers fresh baguettes, jacket potatoes and salads. Our training restaurant, The Gallery, offers a variety of excellent lunchtime and evening meals to the public at a very reasonable cost.

We have a quiet, multi-faith prayer room with ablutions facilities available for those of all faiths and those of none.
